Duncan Leak
"...If you’ve been paying attention to the blogosphere in the past month you know all about Apple’s acsidental leak of thier new iPhone G4. If not, read all about over at Gizmodo.
Apple isn’t the only corporation to have new technology leaked due to disgruntled employees. This past week I was in Indianapolis for Indy States. After the contest we headed to the after party. Later that evening a few of us decided to go to a local bar and catch the Mayweather vs Mosley boxing match. As we waited for the fight to start we threw a few tricks, catching the attention of some of the people in the bar. Once the fight had started we stopped yo-yoing and watched the fight. I was sitting on the far side of the table closest to the bar watching as an obviously drunk man tapped me on the shoulder. "...“You know what this is?”, he asked me.
“No Sir, I have no idea”. I answered.
He went on to tell me he worked at the Duncan factory in Columbus, just south of Indianapolis. Key on WORKED. Apparently he was fired the day before because of inappropriate behavior on the workplace. I think alcohol was involved. The man went on to say that the factory had just finished this prototype of a new yo-yo for their Screaming Eagle line and it was top secret, until now.
After buying the man a few more drinks, I was able to buy the prototype off him for a pretty penny. He don’t know much about the plans of this yo-yo other then it has been in the works for over 2 years and was designed by a local Duncan Crew Member..."

"...As for the technical aspects of the yo-yo I don’t have a scale but I’d say its around 65 grams. It uses the regular sized Duncan bearing, but this is very clean and smooth. Also, you’ll notice the lip that seems to be for some kind of cap. It’s by far my favorite Screaming Eagle I’ve played with.
So, I guess the cat is out of the bag, or should I say “Eagle”?..."
